Implementing the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health laid out a blueprint for the delivery of the main objectives of the strategy, setting clear expectations for different services and the outcomes anticipated by 2020/21. Mental Health 2018 - Delivering the Five year Forward View will highlight the progress made, and takes a look at the achievements we need to build upon.

The programme to deliver the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health is complex and contains numerous different elements. It is a long-term agenda that requires concerted effort from multiple organisations to input and invest over time to achieve its objectives. Addressing them requires innovative solutions, a new way of thinking about policy, and structures that break down the ‘siloed’ nature of government.

Delegates will engage a range of partners and stakeholders promoting collaboration across sectors with an aim promote efficiency and effectiveness by fostering discussion of how agencies can share resources and reduce duplication, thus potentially decreasing costs and improving performance and outcomes.
